The Hon Richard Marles MP, Deputy Prime Minister of Australia and Minister for Defence, has officially opened AIM Defence’s brand-new advanced manufacturing and export facility.

AIM Defence’s Fractl Tactical Directed Energy Laser has taken out first place at an international Counter Drone Sandbox in Canada netting a $1 million dollar prize.

AIM Defence’s Fractl:1 Tactical Directed Energy Laser took out the million-dollar prize at the International Counter Drone Sandbox competition, conducted as part of the Canadian Armed Forces’ Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security (IDEaS)’ program.

AIM Defence has beaten 15 anti-drone technology local and international companies to win CA$1 million (A$1.1 million) dollars from the Canadian Army.
